MAWJ was created from the idea of a wave: calm, fluid, and quietly strong.
A wave adapts to its surroundings without losing its direction. It moves naturally, with ease and resilience. That feeling is at the heart of MAWJ and the way each piece is designed.
Our collections are made for women who want modest dressing to feel effortless. Comfortable silhouettes, thoughtful details, movement, and individuality come together in pieces that are easy to wear and easy to make your own.
The name MAWJ also carries a deeply personal meaning. It is inspired by my brother, Mohammed Jehad, through the initials M and J. It also reflects the image of two seas flowing side by side, separated by a boundary, representing barzakh, the space between two worlds.
That meaning shaped MAWJ into something beyond clothing. A portion of the brand’s proceeds is donated each month to different charities across Qatar, making giving an ongoing part of the brand.
MAWJ is for different women, different styles, and different moments.
